Simulating the water circulation of the Tricastin nuclear power station
The Tricastin nuclear power station operated by EDF has many hydraulic circuits whose water must be inspected frequently.
There is therefore a dedicated sampling circuit: the nuclear sampling circuit (REN). It is clearly impossible to train new staff on the actual equipment.
The project consisted of producing a graphical simulator of the physical behaviour (flow rate, pressure, temperature) of the water circulating in the sampling circuit (REN) of the Tricastin nuclear power station in order to train EDF employees.
This complete training tool means that an authorised trainer can remotely monitor the actions carried out by a chemist undergoing training.
